Such great vegan food here with lovely staff. We had breakfast with the citro torta, the waffles and the chilaquiles. And we even got home made posicle ice! 10/10 would recommend and will come back :)

I absolutely loved this place. I went almost every single day I was in Oaxaca. I love both Miguel and Carlos. Both were always so so nice. Carlos was always excited to share his newest creations. He makes everything there. It’s all natural. It’s all homemade. And it’s all delicious. It doesn’t matter what you try everything is delicious. I think I may have tried everything on the menu more than once. If I could recommend one place in all of Oaxaca state it would be this restaurant. After 5 weeks in Oaxaca, i can say that I went here almost everyday and never got tired of the delicious flavors. Thank you. Thank you!

Fantastic place, and as a vegan, this is one of the only places in town you can get some complete protein options. Vegetables, mushroom as dishes are lovely, but you do need some straight up protein other than beans sometimes. Everything is super fresh, made in house prices are fantastic and service is wonderful. This place is a must for vegans and vegetarians. You have a chance to try authentic Oaxaca cooking!

Delicious vegan food! I loved the tacos al pastor (it has the smokiness down packed). Carlos, the owner was super friendly and we enjoyed talking to him. You could see he was super passionate about the food he puts out. Will definitely be back!

Delicious plant based organic meal in a peaceful and colourful courtyard. We had a waffle, taquito and a banana chocolate smoothie (with added shot of espresso). The food was fresh and healthy and the owner was so informative about how he sources his delicious produce. He gave us so many tips of fantastic places to eat traditional vegan oaxacan food.

Amazing vegan food in the heart of Oaxaca. The food, service, and environment are amazing. The torta bread was perfectly toasted on the outside with a chewy interior like a banh mi. The pozole was also incredibly hearty and delicious. The food tasted fresh and well-balanced. Unfortunately, they close at 2PM so make sure to come early in the day.

Hidden gem in Oax. Offering an all Vegan menu, Citronella delivers rich flavor, decadent drinks, and a variety of sweet and savory meal options. I ordered four drinks, and three entrees, all of them were delicious, and you can’t even tell it’s vegan!! The owner Carlos upholds the idea that we should minimize waste and support organic, local, ethical growers. Cute indoor decor with propagation, and a very nice, open air, balcony, the ambiance is cutesy and pleasantly cool. I recommend the red smoothie and waffle!

Carlos is the most welcoming man!! Always greeting with a smile. He clearly makes his food with love and fresh, quality ingredients. We ate here at the beginning of our 10 day trip and both loved every part of the experience. After spending time at the beach we had one night in Oaxaca and decided tortas would be the perfect food to take for our long journey home. Thank you Carlos for everything!! We hope you and your wonderful restaurant have many years of success!! If you enjoy delicious food with a homemade feel and being treated like an old friend every time you visit, this is the place!! I cannot recommend it enough!!!
